Calling Toronto their home, pop rock quartet Jane’s Party are here to party. Blending undeniably catchy tunes with memorable lyrics, this group is sure to please any crowd looking for a good time.

On the heels of their most recent release, Tunnel Visions, this is one band you won’t want to miss at NXNE. Playing Friday, June 17 in Yonge-Dundas Square, it won’t be a shock if passersby stop to join in during their set.

This group loves to get the crowd moving, and their energy is almost tangible as you listen to their live sets. I had the pleasure of seeing Jane’s Party for the first time last spring, where they opened for Welsh punk-rock band the Manic Street Preachers. I can honestly say they are the first opening act I actively listened to immediately following the show. Seeing the group in the lobby post-show just showed their dedication to their listeners, and their desire to go above and beyond the requirements of any rock band.

There is a sense of nostalgia when listening to Jane’s Party, with their influences spanning several decades of great rock n’ roll that is sure to ring some bells when you give their tracks a listen. Bass and drum driven, with ringing guitar riffs sprinkled on top, this music is fun, danceable, and a sound that will bring a smile to your face.

This is one NXNE set you won’t want to miss. Its outdoor venue will surely add to the atmosphere as the temperatures rise with the dancing crowd. Come out, and enjoy!
